Production tools: Shift planning & management
This section will walk you through planning and managing shifts in GEST. You will learn how to create shifts and workstations, assign people to shifts, submit shifts for approval, and enable participants to book shifts via a post-fill link. You will also learn about shift tracking, capacity management, and printing and exporting shift lists.
Personnel management
The information collected through the form is managed on the person group homepage. This section will walk you through how you can handle personal data, utilize statuses and tags, send emails and text messages, and target products to individuals or larger groups.
Visma Sign & electronic signatures
In this section, you will learn about Visma Sign integration and electronic signing in GEST. You will learn how to send documents for signature, manage contract filing, and track the progress of the signature process.
Import and export of personal data
This section will cover how to transfer personal data to GEST using a CSV file and how to export existing data from the system. You will learn how to import multiple people at once from a ready-made table, as well as export data for further use, for example filtered by status, tags or products. It will also cover the correct file formats and settings that ensure that the data transfer is successful.
Documents
You can use GEST to create various documents for groups of people, such as contracts, information materials, certificates, name tags or coupons. This section will cover creating document templates, utilizing placeholders based on form data, and sending documents to recipients electronically or for signature.
Production tool: Group/Band and Manager panel
In the Group/Band collection, the group has its own page where they can add and update information, submit necessary attachments, and add people coming to the event and possible invited guests within the limits set by the producer. The collection can be used for, among other things, registering and managing bands, vendors, and clubs.
Products
This section will walk you through creating and managing products in GEST. You will learn how to define product information, prices, and capacities, and track their availability. You will also learn how to assign products to people, sell products through payment functions, and manage capacity in different situations.
Check-in
This section will walk you through using GEST's check-in feature. You will learn how to search for and check people in to an event, shifts, or different event days, view participant information, and hand over assigned products. You will also learn about group check-in, check-out, search functions, and the rights of different user roles in the check-in view.
